My inspiration sources all partly from art history, namely czech surrealism and symbolism in which I find a combination of modern forms and spiritual content and background. Modernist artworks, bodies, faces, and surreal spaces seen through dusty glass, deformed and re-defined. Other major theme is an art world itself in its physical and mental appearance, relations and structure. I use often imaginary gallery space as a scene for my pictures for its ambiguity, as a place where everythink is possible.

Although there is a story or at least a sketch of it behind each piece, i like more to leave the subject unclear and let the observer to complete perception with personal associations.

Titles are sometimes intriguing, a lot of them refer to disguise, politics, social behavior or relationships. Also the impression of temporariness, relativity and ephemeral constitution of all the physical and mental existence are strong inspiration source.
